'Change The Rules' Campaign - Member Survey 2017
Monday 09 Oct 2017
The rules that once made Australian workplaces fair are broken. With inequality at 70 year highs, wage growth the lowest on record and 40% of people now in insecure work, our union, together with the ACTU and other unions have launched a national campaign to change the unfair federal industrial relations rules for working people.
The HSU National Council meeting in Melbourne on Friday 6 October unanimously resolved to support the claim. See the resolution here.
The last month has seen the launch of the ACTU 'Change the Rules' campaign, and we're asking you and all union members to complete a five minute survey about what’s happening to working people and what we need to do about it. You can also forward this survey to people you know who may not yet be members, and encourage them to join their union so we can build a strong movement for a fairer workplace for all.
This survey will allow you to tell us about your priorities and it will give you a voice as we campaign to swing the pendulum back towards working people.
To have your say complete the survey here.
Please note, your participation will be treated as confidential and no answers to the survey that could identify you will be used or shared.
The survey is open now and will close on 1 December 2017.
We urge all members to be a part of this important campaign and get involved by completing the survey.
