Community supports homeless, victims of domestic violence
Wednesday 22 Nov 2017
You may remember back in September HSUWA Organiser Vickie McKay put out a call for donations of essential toiletries and other items to create care packages for the homeless and victims of domestic violence.
Thanks to the generosity of the community, Vickie was able to put together 40 men’s bags and 40 women’s bags, plus three boxes of extras, for RUAH Community Services, 18 women’s bags and an additional two boxes of extras for Zonta, and a box of extras for St Bartholomew’s House.
Vickie and HSUWA would like to thank everyone who contributed to this drive. In particular, special thanks to the staff at Bentley Hospital, especially Marina and Glenice for helping organise the Bentley staff, Perth Radiology at Bentley Hospital and Lyn from RPH.
