CPD Survey invitation

Thursday 20 Mar 2014

Allied Health and Health Science members should have received an email with a survey link regarding online Continued Professional Development (CPD).

What do you think about online learning? Is there a case for the Union to deliver online learning?

Have your say by completing our five-minute survey.

HSUWA, together with the National Union and a number of other branches of the Union, is in the early stages of investigating the possibility of providing an online learning platform for our members - and we need your help.

We know that continuing professional development can be both costly and time-consuming, so we've designed a quick five-minute survey that will help us decide which features we might include in the service, as decided by you, our members.

If you're a health practitioner registered under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), the courses on offer will count towards the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points required for your registration. For members who don't require registration, the courses on offer could help you develop your skills and further your career.

The results of the survey will feed into the process of developing a business case for providing online learning services to members. As to whether the Union ultimately decides to go ahead with offering online learning services will depend upon whether there is a business case to do so. Members can expect to be kept informed of any progress in this regard.

The survey closes at midnight (AEDT) on Saturday 29th of March, so don't miss the opportunity to have your say!
