New Public Sector EBA and salary schedule

The final registered version of the new Enterprise Bargaining Agreement for the Public Sector, the WA Health-HSUWA PACTS (Professional Administrative Clerical Technical and Supervisory employees) Agreement 2014, is now available.

Most of the agreement was registered on 8 December 2014.

The Salary Schedules, including the 3.75% increase from 1 July 2014 and the 3% increase to be paid from 1 July 2015, were registered on 30 April 2015, following the arbitrated decision by the WA Industrial Relations Commission.

The timetable for payment of the increases and back pay was published in a Member News on 1 May.

Aside from salary rates and some minor administrative changes, there are some significant improvements and clarifications in the parental leave clause. Parents and parents-to-be should read through the clause carefully.
