Public sector Enterprise Bargaining Agreement campaign begins

The HSUWA is commencing the campaign to negotiate a new Agreement on behalf of almost 20,000 people working for the Department of Health.

The current Agreement is due to expire on 30 June 2014 and the government is already signalling its intent to cap increases to CPI. The HSUWA regards this approach as a troubling move that could result in unfair pay outcomes, particularly as doctors and nurses achieved much higher outcomes.
Our first step is to run a series of meetings and the survey. These meetings are the first round of consultation and will shape the priorities and nature of this campaign. The schedule of meetings is set-out below and all meetings start at 12:30pm unless otherwise stated. Please come along and share your ideas, ask questions and join the campaign for fair pay!
