Public Sector Health Workers Take Action on Pay

Thursday 14 Jul 2022

Health Workers across WA are taking action on pay. The State Government's State Wages Policy does not enable HSUWA Members to keep up with the cost of living, and in fact, will take their wages backwards in real terms.

HSUWA Members have claimed an annual pay rise of 4% or CPI - whichever is higher (CPI in Perth was 7.6% annually for the March Quarter).

A number of Stop Work Actions have been endorsed and planned, with a Rally at Parliament House declared in August for all Public Sector Alliance Union Members.

Planned Action on Pay

HSUWA Delegates across the State endorsed a plan of action for the next two months.  Members are asked to attend and show solidarity.
