UnionsWA will host the Health and Safety Representatives Conference in September. This free event is one of the few opportunities to meet with HSRs working in other industries and sectors and learn from each other’s experiences and practices.
This year’s conference will be a collective check-up on the implementation of the WA Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and a discussion on what is next for WHS in Western Australia. We’ll look at some successes, some challenges, exchange tips, share experiences of implementing the Act in each of our workplaces, and consider further reforms that could strengthen our WHS system.
There will also be presentations and panel sessions with WHS experts where you can ask questions and get advice.
