HSUWA Members, including Allied Health Professionals, Technicians, Assistants and Clerks
from Fiona Stanley Hospital, will congregate to Stand Up! for better pay and conditions at a
Mass Member Meeting on Wednesday, 1 May 2024.
The meeting comes as the State Government and Department of Health have failed to present an
Offer to the largest public sector health workforce in Western Australia, after the union presented
Member claims over seven months ago.
HSUWA Members are claiming pay increases of 7% in the first year and 5% in the second year, in
addition to claims that provide rewarding career pathways for Allied Health Professionals and
Anaesthetic Technicians, safer working hours and conditions.

“Our Members gave a deadline of 30 April to receive a first Offer from the Department after preparing
their well-considered and reasonable claims over seven months ago. They are still waiting.”
