Every day, an enormous amount of goodwill is extended by the public health workforce to get the job done and support quality public health care in WA.
However, the Cook Government has shown, by providing two weak Offers in response to HSUWA Members claims for improvements to pay and conditions, that their goodwill is not reciprocated.
HSUWA Members have decided to withdraw their goodwill, endorsing 5 key actions to demonstrate this over a set period from Wednesday 18 September to Monday 30 September 2024 (inclusive).
They are to:
- start work on time;
- finish work on time;
- distribute materials to the public to explain concerns;
- take paid and unpaid meal breaks;
- and change email signatures to support the industrial campaign.
