Members have voted “Yes” to accept the Fifth Offer for the Public Sector Union Agreement 2024.
HSUWA Members have made their decision, with a record number of votes being received and 90% voting Yes to accept the Fifth Offer.
Members should be proud of what they’ve achieved in this round of bargaining. It was a long and at times challenging campaign, but by standing up together, you pushed the State Government to change their wages policy to remove the pay cap, and pushed them to improve their position, in response to your claims, five times.
We would like to acknowledge and congratulate all the Members, Delegates and Committee of Management members for their tireless collective efforts over the past 18 months. The unity and perseverance of Members has been inspiring during this campaign.
Members will be updated when the Agreement has been registered and new pay rates and conditions come into effect, in addition to the dates back pay will be processed.
