Protect Allied Health Care at Joondalup Health Campus

Allied Health Professionals stand at the front of Joondalup Health Campus with HSUWA signs and flags.

This week is the last chance to sign the petition to Protect Allied Health Care at Joondalup Health Campus, before it is tabled in WA State Parliament.

Members are campaigning to challenge cuts to Allied Health teams at Joondalup Health Campus. Last week, the State Government announced the opening of 60 new public beds at Joondalup, but the reduction in staffing is leaving AHPs stretched too thin and concerned for their patients’ welfare and care.

Over 1,000 people have signed the petition, but more are needed before the 9 June closing date. If you haven’t already signed, please do this today and ask your colleagues, friends and family to do the same. This is an important petition about fighting to achieve safe staffing that will be tabled in State Parliament. We encourage you to take a moment by clicking below to help send a clear and strong message to Ramsay Health Care and the State Government. The staff and the wider Joondalup community deserve better!
